Check out solar shades for the windows. Allows you to have shades down for privacy but still can see out & they let light in. You want to keep that nice bright & cheery look space you have with the windows.

The coffee bar. Nice feature. You’re asking about sprucing up. Honest feedback? For me, the clutter at each side on the floor is distracting from the nice feature that it is. Move all those water bottles into the cabinets - hide them. May require a reorganization of the space but they just look like storage is lacking. The sconces with candles I think on the right are also distracting. I think canvas or framed art piece would add so much more. I’d place the pot of flowers on the table as centerpiece & move out the stand that it is sitting on. A large floor pot of green plant would be great there especially with the light from window. Not a palm but something taller - about counter height. The glass fronted cabinet items - since they’re display as well as storage, the items inside should be carefully curated. You have a pour over coffee pot in one side & it’s great - relates to coffee bar. Do the same with the other side - put the coffee & tea pots on the bottom shelves, cups on middle & cut the amount of stuff on top shelves by half.

Thank you I have plant like that on other side of table. Any suggestions on picture?

Donna - That Spathiphyllum / peace lily is perfect to go next to coffee bar! Try it over on the other side. Looks like there’s more room by coffee bar & plant will likely do better - no dried out leaf tips - away from the floor heat radiator. I like the wall planter & really like your fall / pumpkin table runner. Hard to give suggestions on picture because art is such a personal choice. It should be an image that makes everyone smile - could be something with whimsy or humor or even just peaceful. I think I’d look for a wrapped canvas instead of a framed piece just because of all the wood already in space - the cabinets & furniture. Size wise I’d want a piece that fills the space - 1 piece not 2 - & that size would ’balance’ the wall hung planter on the opposite wall.

I had to look for the witch. Seasonal clutter is okay. I’d still move a bit out of the glass fronted shelving to give things some breathing room.

Can I ask 1 more question
What do you think of these stickley chairs. They are vintage my grandmother solid cherry. I wanted more modern but I can't seem to part with them. Suggestions?

First thing I’d say about those chairs is that you likely won’t ever find any chairs that same quality for less than $1k each because these are Stickley & so are solid wood & high quality. I did an image search & Chairish has a vintage pair for $1800. Second thing I’d say is that I’m the wrong person to render an opinion because I love Stickley & have 9 Stickley pieces - all bought new - in my home. 5 of the pieces are the anniversary limited editions made by Stickley each year. I really like how you’ve set up your table with 2 upholstered chairs & these 4 cherry Stickly chairs. IMO they are all keepers!

So much better! See how the coffee station stands out now without the distractions around the floor? Very nice!

It really shows how small things make such a big difference. Do you need light control? I couild see cafe net curtains on spring rods that would sit inside the windows covering bottom half of the window. You could even leave the existing blinds in place.

What are the dark things above the windows? Distracting and clutter-y.

I think you’ve made some great improvements already.
