Why a bridge faucet at all? I hate them for both looks and function so I need context I guess . Maybe show us all the other choices and this might ake more sense .

I'd pass on the idea of a bridge faucet. I think they look nice, but bad functionality in a working kitchen, and more work to clean it and around it.

ASSUMING a single bowl sink? What sink? Farm sink? Under mount sink? Assume you also want spray?

What is the issue beyond that? It's water into a vessel containing the water.

As to convenience on a daily basis, requiring a two hand mix? I call them all a pain. If you love the look and will sacrifice convenience on a thing you touch hundreds of times in a single week, that's different. That's without the added hassle of a separate spray!

Point is it will look fine......will you love USING it is far more important.

I have the Perrin & Rowe Edwardian bridge faucet in my pantry, and 2 of the Edwardian single handle faucets in my kitchen- they all leak, leak, leak! (Very annoying.)

That would be a royal PITA to keep clean in a kitchen.

I love the look of them, especially with a farmhouse sink. But the practicality of a single handle faucet in the kitchen would win out every time.
