In addition to the nice samples of SW that Lyn suggested, Farrow & Ball has some nice deep greens. I use both SW & F & B in my home. F & B can be a little pricey but I’ve noticed a little goes a long way.

Yes— we have/had alot ti choose from— probably 50! We really love the dark moody feel with gold accents/ oak desk/ camel colored chair…

We put 5 on our wall and Essex Green was the winner! should be complete by early December. I will circle back with photos.

Just curious ... Why did you post this if you have already settled on a color and are set to paint?

I'm usually a fan of dead flat paint. But I think a high gloss can be quite sexy in a really dark space too. It can show a lot of imperfections in this wall though. I'm a fan of extremes - dead flat or high gloss. In between does little for me.

IMO too close to black to be green F&B has some amazing dark greens but too late now I guess Looking forward to the pics

Please post photos of your office when finished! I am thinking about color drenching my study with a moody color. I'd love to see how yours looks when finished!!

We just did an office in SW Retreat. It was the closest equivalent without and exact color match to F&B popular Green Smoke. We're still putting things together so I'll try and add pics.

I painted myself and back and joint issues set my limits so color drenching was out for now. Really happy w the depth of color without feeling too dark.
