Where to put double towel bar for shower in small t bathroom

We have a master bathroom with a shower-toilet room cordoned off with a pocket door. The contractor who remodeled it years back installed a towel bar at 45 inches high in front of the shower and another behind the toilet. Both have come out (dry wall anchors failed), and I don’t want a towel above the toilet again. I want to have a double towel bar installed next to the shower, but I do not run into it when exiting the shower (which has a sliding glass door) and also hang the towels higher to avoid the toilet. The opposite wall has light switches and is only a few inches wide so we have a robe hook on it. We will be moving the toilet paper several inches forward as well.

We don’t want towel hooks as towels don’t dry well. A towel warmer will cost too much and we would have to have it wired.

I am considering a hotel type towel rack with two bars next to the shower door. If installed high enough (shelf at the height of the shower door) the rack would not interfere with exiting the shower and both towels could dry.

Suggestions?

I use hooks for towels not towel bars.

Are the polished brass knobs staying in the bathroom that has all chrome around the shower?

That paint color selected doesn't complement the cabinet.

The towels don't all have to be in the shower area. Any wall space in the vanity area of the bathroom to hang towel bars?

I have a similar tiny space, I put a spring loaded shower curtain rod across the top of the shower to hang the towels on to dry. It doesn’t interfere with showering and I also use it for drying hand laundry!

That is an interesting solution. I could get a couple of towel hooks and hang the wet towels inside the shower.

The large heated towel bars would be great but too pricey for me with installation & electrical work. I am changing the paint color (dark cream) and the hardware to chrome most likely

I plan to paint the bathroom a neutral color and change out the hardware to coordinate with the
shower metal. I will discuss the idea of towel hooks again, but I am curious about how high I could put a double towel bar on that wall

Towels would look better over the toilet ... but you can't reach that far from the shower.

I'd maybe put the towel rack over the toilet AND add a single hook near the shower, allowing you to move your towel before you shower, then hang it back over the toilet after you're finished.
