Don't remember seeing this before. I've seen maples in this area flower in early February before but never in early December before dropping all of its leaves!

I know it's nbd, just thought it was a neat observation when walking around yesterday. None of the other silver or red maples are flowering yet, just this one. I hope it isn't an indication of stress.
