    I obviously will be late mailing out Christmas cards. Mom & I had some health issues, I had to take mom to the ER and Bella passed away. Sorry for the delay but they will be mailed out soon.

    Sara- a wintery cabin card, filled with with lots of zinnias, cleosia, greens, leeks, asters and more. Thank you! I can't wait to try them.


    Betsy- I love the wreath card with Shirley poppies, Fidelio tomatoes, Red Fire lettuce, and Culvers root. I haven't had these, so I am excited to try!


    Renea- a glittery snowman card, filled with sunflowers, jalapeño, cherry tomato, and loofah seed. Thank you!

    Linda, Many thanks for the 'Rococo' pansy seeds! I adore those ruffled pansies! And thanks to Betsy for seeds of more good stuff, including collarette and 'Fireworks' dahlias and "Saguna Star Rose' petunia. I always love bi-colored petunias too!

    Oh my goodness I just got another two cards in the mail today! You guys are amazing! Thank you, everyone! Merry Christmas! We just replaced our water heater today that has been out since the morning of the 24th… nothing like simple hot water going out to remind us that we are blessed to live where it is so easy to replace (well, with a handy husband, at least). Thank you, again - everybody!!!

    Betsy, thank you so much for all the lovely flower seeds, some are new to me and a few are my favorites too that I really wanted to plant more of and now I can ! I will be winter sowing some of these !

    Mandy , thank you for the Lemon cucumber ( sliced cucumbers and cherry tomatoes straight from the garden are one of my favorite lunches in the summer)

    Linda thank you for the zinnia, daisy and turtlehead seeds, my butterflies will be happy !

    Heidi, thank you for the great tomato seeds ! I have to look some of these up ( I love looking up new to me varieties, its the only way to get thru the cold winter months )

    Sara, thank you for all the beautiful flower seeds, my bees and butterflies will love them !

    Renea, thank you for the Jalapeno, Loofah ( new to me !) sun flower and cherry tomato seeds ! can you tell me what variety cherry tomato they are ?

    Lanna, thank you for all the wonderful cucumber, zinnia, cantaloupe and blue spice basil ( I have never grown this one, very exciting ! ) seeds ! Love them all !

    I hope you have all enjoyed the swap as much as I did. I truly believe sending, receiving cards and sharing tiny pieces of our gardens with either other makes the holiday a little more special.I hope you all have a happy and healthy New Year and a great gardening season next year ! Iris

    Chrystal, thank you so much for the lemon grass and bird of paradise seedlings. Thinking about tropical plants always makes me feel warmer, even when it is very snowy and blustery outside!

    Thank you for the cardinal card and seeds! I had to look up garlic vine, had never heard of it, but it is beautiful and I'll try to get it growing on my garden fence (maybe in a pot?). Thanks also for the cleome, which I love, and blue hubbard squash which I love but haven't grown in awhile.

    The butterflies, carpenter bee’s, wasps, and other various little bee’s, thank you all for this food I will be adding to the garden for them this coming summer. They all delight me, except the Carpenter bee’s. Oh ,and can’t forget the adorable hummingbird.😊

    Nicole - bluee19, thanks so much for sending 2 tomatoes, Granny's Throwing and Georgia Streak! Tomato varieties have such great names. Also, for Alyssum, Tokyo Long onions, Marshmallow and double white Rose of Sharon! We're having a warm spell now and I'm itching to get growing!

    Oh my goodness, my brother forgot to give me one of my cards I received before Christmas. Thank you Jen for the Serrano, Hananero pepper, and Columbine. I will have plenty of Columbine now for my garden this summer.

    Sen, Many thanks for the four o'clock Formula Mix, radish Crimson Giant, and rutabaga Laurentian seeds! I'll enjoy growing all of those, especially so since I've never tried rutabagas before. I just picked a couple radishes from my garden yesterday, though they were the black Spanish type--one of the few vegetables that can survive our zone 5 winters.
