I usually like a shade of green with cedar but a door does not drive this bus Take a pic from far enough back for us to see the roof the door and the house Do not use a screen shot since thatcannot be enlarged . Then you get real help . IMO the door can be anything honestly .

Removing the shutters is good. I do not see the door of course but I think a soft grayed green could work and IMO a cedar garage door too since the garge is so prominant sort of like this

It’s a big decision and consider the overall look you are going for. With the garage being so prominent, consider adding stone around the door and paint it black to create a connection to its prominent roof.

Light, earthy, modern combo.

Even with white trim, whatever color you choose I'm envisioning a deep charcoal gray from the roof for the fascias and garage door. I don't have software but here is a rough sketch.

Considering you have a black roof and cedar front door, here's a visual of my suggestions. Widen the stairs to the width of the porch, paint the siding (and siding trim) a creamy white, windows black, trim, shutters and garage door in charcoal. Build a long modern flower box on the ground floor below the bay window.
