Panasonic bath fans / alway-on time-delay option: I HAVE QUESTIONS!

I am in the middle of a multi-bathroom renovation and just told the contractor not to use the standard WhisperChoice models he buys because optimal ventilation is VERY important to us ( in fact it's one of the reasons we're doing this renovation in the first place).

I'm not interest in motion sensors and humidity sensors, but wow -- still so many options and I have questions:

  1. It's a very tight house in a humid climate, so the always-on modules with multi-speed timers sounds like a really good thing (they run at top speed for a set period then drop to a low always-on speed). Are there any drawbacks to that?
  2. Is that module only available with the WhisperGreen fans?
  3. I was going to install a timer wall switch like the Maestro, where instead of off/on, you click a button that says 20 minutes or 30 minutes. If I do the multi-speed timer module in the fan, is that a conflict with the wall switch timer? In other words, am I committing to just one setting such as "always turns up the speed for 30 minutes then drops the fan speed." And if that's the case, should I get rid of the wall switch timers?
  4. For the modules with multi-speed timers, is the low speed limited by the fan I select? For example, in a small bathroom I'll do a fan that has 50-80-110 cfm options, and for the larger bathroom I'm getting a fan with 100-150 cfm options. If we do the multi-speed timer module, is the lowest "always on" speed still around 30cfm?
