Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for 2026

It is down to the wire here for preparations for the family gathering on Christmas day. How fast the time flies and 2026 is around the corner. Weather here has been very very cold and windy. Very little snow so far. Have been getting rain when the temps started getting over freezing so that is good.

So far, the fencing has kept the deer out. We have had occasionally a fox, skunk and cats passing thru which is okay with me. No damage just passing through. However our backyard started to look like a meeting place for the deer waiting for Santa to show up. LOL.

Hopefully I can join in on Sherry's alphabet in January. Most of my time after the holidays will be spent in my sewing room till spring comes and I can once again enjoy the outdoors.

Happy Holidays! I'm glad the fencing is keeping the deer out. It sounds like your backyard is not fenced. We've had a lot of snow here in November and December, much more than normal for this area. I was glad to have snow cover last week when night temps went below zero, but we are experiencing weather whiplash now. This week temps are warm and should be near 60 degrees on Christmas day.

Glad to hear your fencing is working!

We had way more than usual snow and now rain with the warmer weather.

We have a busy time this time of year and more than usual: We had the November wedding, one son' birthday is the 23rd, Janelle's birthday is the 24th, Christmas the 25th, another son Jan. 6th. We also have another grandchild coming in February, a girl, so we are having a baby shower on Sunday! We certainly aren't bored!

Reading everyone's weather I'm so grateful for ours. It's 78 right now and will approach 80 on Christmas day. Drought conditions here again, so no snow in the forecast. I hate snow!! I hate ice!! So that's fine by me. Pleasant enough to drag out the hose once again to water all the pots...........Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to all my daylily friends............Maryl

Merry Christmas to all. It's a beautiful day here--60 degrees and sunny. That's a welcome relief after the cold and snow we had had.
