Designing matching foyer console tables

I have matching console tables flanking the door. Not in love with the existing artwork, sculptures etc...too modern for my taste. Do they need to be styled the same? Would large art like we have there work or should it be a mini gallery wall?

The tables and art work look fine as is. Why do you want to change them? The only other alternative would be to add a large mirror, which serves a function by a front door.

The simple solution is to find art, etc. that you like to replace the art you don't like. Art is a personal choice, so you must choose what appeals to you. You shouldn't have to live with things you don't like, and have to look at them every day just because someone thinks they look "fine". You could put art you love on the one side and a mirror on the other side to reflect it. You could also add a small lamp to one of your tables.

for me, the matching tables are fine, but I would style them differently. your tables are fairly small, so keep it simple. I don't like a glare on the glass so would choose something in a canvas rather than a image and glass framed.

the side where the doors opens on to the table, a Framed piece of art a lamp and a large low bowl, keeping the space clean for use. If you don't need a lamp to turn on on entering the home, I would omit the lamp on that side.

The other side a mirror (same porportions, a lamp, and additional decor/storage introducing guests to the homes style. (and opportunity for seasonal decor)

Thank you all! Do you think it would look too asymetrical to have one mirror on one side and maybe a canvas art or smaller gallery art pieces?

IMO the art you select for over the console tables should have been in a portrait format, less than the width of the table.

a gallery of frames would be great, whatever you like.

Suggest adding vertically over the tables and don’t duplicate (including the tables‘ accessorizes), BUT…create a visual connection by the repetition of the metal. I’d add a mirror on the right as you enter.

If interested, you could find a new home for a table and add impactful art and a sconse.

Absolutely fine to have asymmetry here. In fact, I'd prefer it.

I like a canvass or print on one side and mirror on the other.

I think a singular piece of artwork really helps ground this small area much more than a collection of small pieces. I'd reserve a gallery for elsewhere.

I like tem exactly as they are what is the issue ???? I hate gallery walls and such a misnomer anyway galleries do not hang a bunch of art all glommed together on a wall you have anice elegant looking space leave it alone . Do you love the art if so who cares that it is more modern but do you hate it or has someone made a comment .

"Not in love with existing artwork, or the sculptures.......too modern for my tastes"

First issue: Do both sides NEED a console, let alone matching ?

Lamp........ a place to sit down, a mirror........and UN MATCH all of it

    Soften the whole thing: )

Perfect symmetry and identical has a place, but so does balance, interesting welcoming..?

It's a little "room ", at your doorstep.
