We also were considering wood veneer look but not sure if it would we go with what we have already

I am not sure where the TV wall is but just like in a home space the fewer finishes the better always. I assume you are covering all the concrete block with whatever you choose . Maybe just put labels on what we are seeing so we know where the TV goes .

Right now thinking smooth stucco on bbq bar wall and stone veneer on the tv wall.

agree that the fewer finishes the better - I’d probably skip the stone veneer but that’s a me thing (feel like it is being stuck on everything these days) - the pavers will add a lot of interest so I would want to choose something that doesnt fight them (likely stucco or possibly wood veneer)

for me, the finish would be a large format tile. Smooth finish, but Something that compliments the floor pavers. Stucco even smooth, isn't smooth enough. it will look dirty in no time.
