Please help pick colors for SW Florida home.

last month

Going for a more modern coastal feel— but not too modern. Bought this house 2 years ago. Gets tons of sun! We are on west coast of Florida. The current colors are SW aesthetic white (main), trim is SW urbane bronze and facia boards are BM Musket Brown . Thanks in advance for any guidance!

I think what you have now looks great.

when I want a change I like to do the opposite so I see a real change.

I would paint all the trim and garage doors white and paint the body a soft color, blue, green or a Straw Yellow color. it would compliment the terra cotta pavers.

I like what you have. I dont think, it will look coastal regardless, and what you have looks very nice.

A paint color is not going to make your style house look modern coastal. I too like it as is.

I love the yellow… it has so much more life and warmth…white is sort of blah and impersonal

The blue and green will both blend in with the background colors too much

Many in my area of southwest FL are going monochromatic, just one color, when repainting these Mediterranean style houses, specially if the house has "fussy" trim from the 1990s that they don't want to highlight.

I agree with Lyn the dark color does not really say Florida to me . You of course need to be mindful of the tile but a pale gray green could work with a warm white trim

Thanks all. I was thinking of going either SW Alabaster or Pure White for the base and trim (all the same.)
Painting garage & Facia board Iron ore?

Not sure much will change with the dark concrete tile roof. Not sure that is where I would spend the money. I am on the SW coast of Florida and we paint every 10-12 years. I think the landscaping looks a bit heavy handed with all the hedges.

The white trim is also great…wondering if the two palms in front of the windows have grown too big… and block the light plus the view from the interior?….they might add more impact elsewhere …

It's hard to tell for sure but those palms look like Robellini. If so, they are easily trimmed.

your house screams Mediterranean. the doors, garage doors, the warm terra cotta paver driveway, the overall style.

going all light like the make overs above, look blah to me. there's no style.

going coastal is really not going to happen to this home w/o serious changes to the body itself. (like the plantation style shutters above, diff landscape, a more modern front door)

I think it looks nice as is. You could opt for lighter trim. maybe a sage green shade?

They usually have to be trimmed a lot to be moved..,so that would be a great first step in any case…it just seems to me a view of the windows and a little more trim would add nicely to the street appeal of the home

No reason to move them if they are trimmed. They are airy palms. We have them.
