what to add to this? I don’t need to keep all the things on the shelf below the tv.

Opposite wall of tv

I have these 2 pictures of my kids that i want to hang on the wall by the chair

Maybe some white floating shelves or picture ledges? It's hard to tell witout seeing the whole area.

how about photos of the whole room, all four walls for a better understanding of the space.

Really need to see it in the context of the entire space. Can you take a picture farther back?

Half the picture is blurred. How can we suggest anything without seeing at a mnimum the entire wall and even better the entire room to see the style of your room.

Show the whole room in a new pic that includes that wall there is no way to help with zero context

Can you please post photos of the entire room. Hard to give any advice seeing such a small portion of the room.

Is that a television? If so, I’m not sure I would put anything there.

When you have time post pics or get not much help.

It depends on the size of the space, but a few things that work really well in bedrooms are a small gallery wall with framed prints, a decorative mirror, or floating shelves with a few plants and candles. Wall art or a textile hanging can also make the space feel warmer without making it look cluttered.

Sorry I hate TV in bedooms but if that stays then you need a much wider cabinet below and no little things all over the wall and put on all the tiny shelves below. I need to see the whole space , design is not done one wall at a time but as awhole . We have asked for pics of the whole space so until you do that I have no real help. I for sure do not like a bunch of decor on a TV wall usually

Thanks for adding another picture! Bring the tv down so it looks like it belongs to the credenza below.

I really like the vertical dark-colored art piece resting on the floor. I’d hang it to the left of the tv, helping ground the tv to the credenza.

Personally I would limit the tiny fussy pieces. (You already have little pieces on the credenza.) The wall is big and wide, the tv is big, the art piece is big, and tiny pieces don’t go in this mix. If you really love them, maybe you could make a grouping elsewhere in this room in a smaller space.

@Julie Van Otterloo, above at least 6 commenters have asked for more pics. Your dilemma is not getting the answers that you want because you are not providing the pics.

IMO closed storage below the tv would be best since you have so many small objects.

Maybe paint the tv stand the same color as your entry door if you keep it.

@littlebug Zone 5 Missouri - That is a vertical mirror leaning against the wall.

Oh! Well, I just thought it was abstract art. 🤣🤣

Maybe the OP could find some abstract art like that. The mirror is an ideal size for an art piece.

LOve the pics of the kids but how big are they and how big is that wall where you want them. You need larger night stands and lams there . A lot more interesting bedding would be nice. Little stuuff all over the walls is just eye clutter . I see the photos now they are too small for that huge wall . Maybe more color and pattern on the bed will satisfy that need for stuff all over the walls , the room seems large why not move the bed to thta large wall by the chair and then find a better place for the TV and add the chair and atable and lamp where you have the TV now and those photos on that wall. This is why we ask for to scale floor plans of spaces
