Flooring Dilemma--I Need Help! I Don't Want Too Many Types of Flooring

last month

We have beautiful Brazilian Teak hardwood floors on our first floor:

Last year, we retreaded our stairs but couldn't use the Teak due to the outrageous pricing of the treads. We opted for Oak and stained them to closely resemble the Teak. I was not thrilled about it but it worked out okay.

Now we need to finish the flooring in the upstairs hallway and one room on the first floor. Naturally, we are going to use the Teak downstairs. The plan for the hallway was to also use the teak hardwood or a LVP that matches. You can see how closely:

Now there are new problems:

If we use the same hardwood, we cannot get a piece of stair nose molding for where the stairs meet the second floor hallway. We have contacted several companies and they cannot locate a piece that matches.

Secondly, the LVP is no longer made and it matches great but I do not have enough to finish the hallway.

Here's the dilemma...

I don't like oak and settle for it on the stairs as my second best option. I do not want to add more of it in the upstairs hallway. Can I change to a completely different flooring for the hallway (and potentially) bedrooms? Carpeting is NOT an option with our dog and boy. Too many accidents and messes to deal with new carpet. I would like a lighter tone if possible but don't know how that would look.

What do you suggest?
