How bad will it look if my fridge is sticking out of the kitchen?

So, during the demo, we found out our plan has failed. We can't expand the kitchen by 18 inches like we'd planned because there's a sprinkler pipe running in the wall that's next to the fridge.
I can't move the stove, the vent is right under there..and if I put the fridge back in it's original place, I'll have limited counter space and storage again. My thought was to keep the wall and make it look integrated into the kitchen like the design below.
Thoughts?

'sticking out is in relation to whats around it. you ended the run w the fridge..how about installing something to right of fridge .....and install more of something opposite the fridge.... is this a condo? prepping to sell , or your main residence or what? I'd extend something opposite the fridge ... maybe an L shaped banquette so the visual focus is directed out into the room..not the fridge.

Note banquette [L shaped below]..seated people w backs to fridge would be more pleasing. can you put a coffee bar or something to right of fridge ?

Condo, primary residence for the foreseeable future. The empty space next to it is our living room, so I was hesitant to extend the wall by too much on that side. I'm worried the banquette will make things look cluttered and cut off the flow from the kitchen to the living area. I'll have to play around to see. Thanks
