1500 sq ft townhome -hvac install + ducting replacement quote

Live in Southern California

Just closed on our home and went thru a whole home mold remediation. House didnt have HVAC before so we want to install + replace ducting. I am very interesting in the most "non toxic / low tox" methods - no VOCs etc etc

Finding it VERY hard to find anyone who wants to do metal ducting... and it also might be cost prohibitive for us

Metal ductwork takes longer and requires more skills than flexduct. Keep looking - bigger companies tend to do metal ductwork for commercial settings so they have the skilled staff to do this. A $4500 premium for metal ductwork is not Kosher!

The quote has no information about the HVAC equipment. Were you given brand names and model numbers.

It is hard to comment on the price of the duct work without knowing more details. Will this duct work solely be in the attic with registers and returns in the ceiling or is the installation more difficult?
