advice on color of siding and any other suggestions?

The first one is current
The next two are the two siding choices “Greystone” or “bone”
And then I’ve tried to have AI mock in our house. Which do you like better? Also with shutters or not? Choices are: bone with either white or black gutters and trim OR Greystone with either white or black gutters and trim

how about this one?? the sidign looks a little green but the color is greystone exterior portfolio -- thinking of keeping the bricks thanks to all of your comments... KEEP em coming!! another decision - white trum and gutters or black trim?? also planning flagstone on porch floor

I like it without the shutters. I see AI removed a portion of the brick. Is that part of your plan? I like it there.

I like the greystone color, but not with black windows. Black windows make me think of modern farmhouse which never really appealed to me. IMO they make a '70s colonial look like it's trying too hard to be "modern".

leave the brick. go with option 1, no shutters if those colors are your only choice. If you can make another choice, I tend to agree with Lynn Nelson on her advice

Please don’t add the stone, it chops up the house. I would leave the brick,if you hate the color, paint or stain it. No shutters. Agree with
    Lynn.

I prefer your brick and i don't think the vertical siding is appropriate for your home.

Agree with a sage green being lovely with the brick - which I suggest you leave and not change to stone. No to vertical siding and black windows - neither is appropriate for your style home. Beef up the porch columns, change front door to one with windows and add windows to garage doors.

Keep the brick. Go with a nice sage green siding, remove the shutters and keep the posts and eaves white. A nice classic update without all the costs of a full redo.

Have you seen similar homes in your neighbourhood that were updated and you like, as there are numerous elements and options to consider.

Here is a nice look: upper and lower areas that work well with each other, a front door that draws the eye, and more substantial posts.

If you are installing black windows, it will have modern feel, so don’t suggest shutters.

I agree with Lorraine. What is your plan for garage doors? I would also eliminate the shutters and add wider trim around the windows.

thanks everyone! I knew Id get good advice here. The last photo that i added shows the bricks whitewashed and the greystone exterior portfolio siding. let me know any ideas? esp wondering about white trim on windows (which i like) or balck with black gutters (my husband prefers)

I love the whitewashed brick, and no to black windows...definitely use woodwork on the pillars to make them more substantial.

The last photo with the whitewashed brick and vertical siding is beautiful !!! Wonderful house.🤗

Looks nice! Regarding black window trim and eavestrough/gutter, I think it would feel patchy. The front and garage doors provide the right amount of contrast.

Painting brick IMO is the fastest way to devalue your home . The brick is the best part of that exterior. I love this color ding with brick in fact I like the whole idea of trim and siding the same color n no shutters either . A nice new front door with some glass and new garage doors with some glass too , just like this pic. Then go to work on some nice landscaping.

I like the last one the best, but I'd work with the red brick, rather than whitewash or paint it.
