My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    For those looking for the software capabilities at no cost, there's LibreOffice. Completely free, as the name suggests and with a 15 year track record. Its files are compatible in both directions (to and from MS) and the software has similar capabilities. The menu trees are a bit different but for most users, the differences are easily learned.


    Also, Google Docs is relatively compatible for users with basic needs. IE, not needing sophisticated tools like macros, functions, etc.
