I have been thinking it would be nice to do a video tour of my gardens this spring when everything is in full bloom.
But I’m not very good at photography and videography. I do have a friend who has a good drone and he does some nice work and I think he’s willing to film for me. Will see how it goes.

I second Moses' suggestion of a video tour. Would so enjoy that. I think the most important thing is to just not swing around too much while filming with your phone; it can give viewers motion sickness. I'm no expert, but I've just noticed this on some informal garden video tours.

@judijunebugarizonazn8 You're welcome. It's one of Moore's most underappreciated hybrids. I think it has to be grown in just the right climate (yours, obviously!) to thrive, but when it does, it's phenomenal. I'm glad you've provided a good home for it. I worry that it will go extinct if people don't adopt it, and that would be such a shame.

Judi gorgeous! I love your garden, a movie would be fantastic. I also got a baby Golden Century from Paul a couple of years ago. I just planted it in my new garden and I hope it does half as well here.

I hope yours does well, Dianela. This will be interesting to see how it does in a warm, humid climate versus a hot , dry climate like mine. For me, the foliage is pristine, no powdery mildew. Blackspot isn’t an issue here, so I don’t know how resistant it is.

What a magnificent image of the grandness of nature, Judi, the rose, the stone walls and the mountains, your efforts shine so bright. Agree with Moses, more videos or long shots of your garden. Climbers are so much more work for me, but I’m really appreciating the scale and dimension they add to the garden. What is the blue sage-like flower in the foreground?

The blue flowers at the front of the beds is Electric Blue Penstemon. I couldn’t find Pristine Blue very easily so this is my substitute and it’s quite nice for this location.

Judi mine got some blackspot in the pot, I am hopping it does better in the ground. I planted it where it can get as big as it wants.

In regions where there's significant Blackspot, it's not immune to it.

Here’s a close-up of the blooms for you, jjk. They aren’t that amazing as individual blooms, but the effect is so pretty that I don’t mind the messy looking quilled blooms.
