Ride Sharing from/to the Airport for Tulipmania? Anyone, Anyone?

Rather than trying to send an email to everyone attending, I thought I would just start a post here to see if anyone would like to ride share to our lodging and back to the airport.

I know nothing about the best way to get to ‘Mtn’s Sorority House’ or how far some of the other lodging is from there. I can certainly rent a car if needed. Is Uber the best mode to use? Please tell me what is best to do.

I am flying Delta thru Atlanta and arrive at 1215 (noon-ish) on Friday and have a flight on Sunday at 5:30 pm. i do not mind sitting in the airport an hour or two if your flight is around the same time.

Do indicate your interest here and also send me an email (see Mtn’s email to all of us from a week or so ago) so we can make plans.

I’ll have a car, but am taking a client to lunch on Friday.

My flight out is at 6-something on Sunday and I can take folks with me. Depending on how long it takes to clean up brunch, the fair warning is you might be coming back to rental car with me.

Mtn, I will do that if I don’t get too many responses or when we can narrow it down to those interested. I know many are driving since they live within an hour or two.

How are the rest of you who are flying in getting to your lodging? is a rental car the best option? Or should we just use a service like Uber or…?

I'm on the same flights you are Outside. KSWL and I are carpooling. I think you could ride with us. We're staying in West Chester but I can give you a ride to where you're staying and we'll be departing from the same location.

I will have a car and my flight leaves at a similar time on Sunday - I think around 5:40pm - don't have the details with me right now. You are welcome to ride with me to the airport. I arrive later on Friday evening around 7pm so if anyone needs a ride then I'm available as well.

I arrive super late Friday around 9 p.m. and have rented a car. My Sunday flight is later afternoon so happy to take someone who needs a ride anywhere. American Airlines

I will be arriving with the sun on Friday. On Sunday, my flight leaves about 6-ish.

@mtnrdredux_gw, I don’t think I want to post it online, but when you send out the email, could you please let us know what time you anticipate checking in to the Air BnB? No sense in any of us getting there before you check in.

I'm flying but Allentown. Taking advantage of my first not-just-passing-through visit to Pennsylvania by visiting a couple of spots, and Allentown worked better.

I am arriving Thursday afternoon, leaving Monday for Gettysburg. I will have a rental car (staying at Whitewing) if anyone needs a ride to the events.

FWIW I looked it up and found my Uber receipt from my visit to Longwood last year, when I took an Uber from PHL to West Chester (the same general area where most are staying). It was $75 plus tip.

I will be in Philadelphia Thursday night if anyone wants to meet for dinner. I’m staying near the Museum of Art but can Uber anywhere. I’ll be finished with my plans around 4:30 or 5 pm.
