Thoughts? Cabinet Co “Forgot” to hit send on our order 11 weeks ago!

We ordered cabinets for our bar, kitchen/island and other builtins. Asked for updates on remaining order to find out they were nevered ordered. Now shes ghosting me a bit and very defensive. There were mistakes on our bar/island cabinets and husband is rebuilding and painting some of thise in the field with out our approval. This voids our warrenty and would have preferred transparancy and communication to give us a choice. Due to the mistakes in our first order I wanted to go over order that was never submitted to make sure it’s correct. Its been 3 days and sges not responding to my VM/texts. What are your thoughts? I think she should be restructuring her appointments to make a high priority at the very least.

    From the OP's post, It sounds like the kitchen cabinets are already ordered and installed. And there's a supplemental order to take care of errors and damage, maybe??? If these are no charge items, then you are stuck working through this with the original company. If they are all warranty issues, then you can ask to speak with the factory rep. What cabinet brand is it? If it's not a lot of stuff and not too expensive, you could reach out to another dealer for the order, but it's best, if possible, to keep with the original company and work things out with them.

    @Olychickv They installed our bar and island already which was one color. Our Kitchen perimeter cabinets are a custom color along with some custom built in's. That order was "placed" a bit later as we had to wait to approve the custom color. We paid 60% on the entire project Jan 10. They will eventually placevthis order I'm sure, but they are not being responsive or seem to care that it's been 11 weeks and we will now have to wait another 12+ weeks. We're leaving on vacation Tues and want to get this taken care if before we leave but she right now is comtrolling the situation and has not responded to my requests to talk.

    @The Kitchen Place The total job includes Bar, Kitchen, and some built in caninetry. We paid 60% Jan 10 for the entite order. Bar and island is one color and is getying installed. I dont know if there were mistakes in order by them, or manufacturer, but they were rebuilding/painting various cabinets, drawes without asking for my approval as to waiting for them to be sent ir fixed lically. All other cabinets are a custom color and order was supposed to be placed first of Feb. I just found out two days ago that she forgot to hit confirm on the order so it was never submitted. I asked to look over this order since there were mistakes on the first one and she is now getying defensive and not responding. She us refusing to talk or meet with us at this point. I am aure the order will get sent eventually, but we're leaving on tues fir vacation and are really busy and I want this order sent immediatly and expedited if possible. After we get everything installed I an planning on writing a letter to the manufacturer about their behavior. I think they should have given me the option about cabinets rebuikt in the field knowing it woukd boid our warrenty.

    I'm confused about this: "husband is rebuilding and painting some of thise in the field with out our approval" Who is "our"? You and the cabinet co? Or did you mean "their approval"? Unfortunately, anything he did to void the warranty may work against you.

    Besides that, did you use a designer? If so, he or she needs to manage this process.

    If you ordered directly from a cabinet company and your contact isn't responding, I'd go there in person if you can and demand a meeting with someone in charge. Bring all your paper work, emails, dates and times of phone messages, etc. Be loud and bold until someone fixes this. At the very least I'd be asking for a discount due to the delay, because it's due to their mistake.

    What brand are these? One of the RTA's that spray white cabinets in their warehouse for a "custom color"?

    be specefic ..what is "the remaining order" how many mistakes ? / what kind of mistakes ? / what do you mean by "rebuilding" ..whose husband and was this person doing this in the spot they were installed or parts taken off site. Cabinets are components put together..rebuilding can be a generally non dramatic event. There are no pictures and no specefic details about your frustrations.
