Poor guy has not been getting a lot of respect lately.

That was so funny. What really made me laugh though is, he hasn’t lived in Chicago for 40 years, and he still has his bank account here? That’s my kind of guy.

Since I'm not Catholic and I don't usually have a strong opinion of the Pope (although I really liked Francis), I love Pope Leo and am so proud we have an American Pope.

I'm Jewish but in love with my recent contact with the Catholic church because of their ardent support for immigrants. Leo sounds like my kinda Pope. He's walking the path of everyday people!

A funny but frustrating incident involving a man who has understandably gained an immense following in a short time. He’s won over people of all backgrounds and faiths as he displays his innate kindness, wisdom, and humility. The College of Cardinals made an excellent choice.

More practically, the incident also highlights how the US banking industry has become increasingly rigid. Strict rules now limit what staff can do. A recent experience of mine suggested even branch managers lack the authority to make common-sense decisions in unique situations. Dealing with banks can be very frustrating. I suspect most everyone has stories to tell.

So funny, but really, you can understand why she just hung up. Who would ever believe that?
