I am not interested in a secret door. If I was, it would be in the basement or the attic, to hide a room for valuables. What would matter the most to me would be whether the result would be effective at hiding the room.

Not interested here either. I have enough doors to maintain, without adding a secret one to the mix.

Not the best photo-description however I built this bookcase onto casters and added door framing so that it disguised access to our furnace/water heater and softener. Was my solution to avoid a wall of doors.

@AnnaDevane - Thank you. The French doors to the left provide access to a utility sink. Another identical set of French doors elsewhere open to storage. They were backlit to create illusion of additional rooms.

I would love to have a secret door. When my brother and I were little we had a couple places in the grove where the trees came together *just so* and we could hide. We used to watch Dr. Who with mom on Sunday nights and I've always dreamed of having a door that I could open and behind it would be a space, like my own TARDIS.
