The other great thing about those big-ass sinks is you can get them with the 15 degree radius corners like yours. Mine is like that too. My first one had the sharp corners - hard to clean. My kitchen sink is wider both ways than my laundry sink so it does come in handy for more than those big cookie sheet sized pans etc.

Oh yea, I love me a big-*ss sink. Mine is big and deep and I could probably wash the dog in it if I wanted to.

I loved the big single sink when I did my kitchen remodel, so when we built a few years later, I went with the same big sink and added an integrated drainboard ... love the sink even more!

laundry sink is much more ideal for that type of stuff. everyday use of kitchen sink= less water the better, including a sheet pan. if a sheet pan is really f-d i just soak a dishrag and put it on it for a few and then it is easy to clean off

My laundry sink is deep but not at all wide, so for me the kitchen sink is best. And for sheet pans, I just mean I'm glad I can lay them flat in the sink to wash them. I'm not using a ton of water on them.

Oh yes, big *ss sink for the win! I can have the dish rack, rinse and drain garden veggies (or pasta) in a colander and still have room for ongoing sink-y activities...

s m. Thanks for that dish rag idea. I bake a lot of chicken thighs with mayo and spices in a airfryer/oven with a tray under that needs regular cleaning from baked on grease even though I put water in it. Well most times the water is enough.

Yes, the left pullout is trash/recycling and the right is a regular door - I've got a rather large-ish disposal under there (batch-operated so no switch or button) and then room for a few things in a rack on the inside of the door. I don't have a good picture of my own, but this is the type of unit I have on the left side:

@stillpitpat yes, good eye! That one is even autographed - my aunt lived in rural SE Ohio and was a big fan of Harper, so we've got several of his prints around the house.

We also love our big sink - we have two faucets and love the extra utility that offers

@gardengrl66 z5 that's so cool. I was born in Cincinnati and my parents were big fans. We have Harper posters, puzzles (they are hard!), and books. My mom said my grandma knew him from when she lived in WV.

Two faucets on back corners make a big sink a good choice for function.
