DH and I went to our favorite grocery in Harrisonburg VA Maxx Foods .A treasure trove of everything we love for our culinary adventures .

Lo Mein boiled 3 minutes , tossed with Sesame Oil , then quick stirfried and then stirfried chicken and veggies stir fried separately all added together with his Special Sauce.

His plate

and 4qts of yogurt just finished . Grands due tomorrow so prep began yesterday. Challah is ready aka ” Dammie’s Bread” .

Lo Mein does look scrumptous! And I wouldn't pass up a slice of the Challah, either.

    Enjoy the grands!

Your keeping the tradition of a home-cooked meal alive! Perfection abounds in your kitchen!

I grew up eating Chow-Mein my mother made.....usually chicken Chow Mein. My mother used a lot of celery....it was probably less expensive than broccoli florets. :0)

What adorable little kitchen helpers! I did notice that the biggest smile from the grandson was when he had food in front of him, LOL.

Homemade pasta is always better, even if you have access to the "good stuff". I think both your pasta makers are "keepers".
