Friday/Weekend Quiz

last month

Like LoneJack, I only remember Catwoman.

But ROX got the answer with Harley Quinn being the Joker's girlfriend

This weekend's question is

In what country was 5-pin bowling invented?

Never heard of such a thing. Do players use a standard bowling ball or a curling stone? Is it played on ice?

You wouldn't have to worry about leaving a 7-10 split very often!

    LOL, Lonejack.

We use a smaller ball with no finger holes.

I used to bowl at Chinook Centre in Calgary. I was really good, too. I tried looking for my awards but could only find two.

I had a whole bunch of them. My husband used my trophy for a boat anchor I think.

Or maybe it’s on holiday with Lord Stanley. 🤷‍♀️

Impressive Rox...a 300 game! I never had a 300 game but I did throw 15 strikes in a row between 2 games and had several 700 series. Had to retire from bowling about 25 years ago due to tennis elbow.

Actually, Lonejack, it was a 450 game but they didn’t have pins with 450 on them, so they said you were a member of the 300 Club. Strange but true.

    Sorry about your tennis elbow.
