Help me pick best appliance combination (wolf, impulse, FP)

Trying to get an idea of what people would recommend/thoughts on appliances for our remodel.

We are switching from gas to induction. We have a butler's pantry that will hold a 30 inch wall oven + breville smart oven when I host larger gatherings so I'm trying to figure out the best configuration for our regular daily working space which isn't that large.

In the main kitchen, we are considering the following options:

Wolf 30 inch induction range (with the knobs)
Fisher Paykel (FP) 36 inch induction range (the classic FP has bridge element only on 36, pro line has it on 30'' but I've heard questionable reviews?)
Impulse cooktop + FP 24inch oven underneath

We are thinking FP as the alternative to wolf since one of our Fridge options include a 36 inch SZ column fridge and having separate FP 24 inch column freezer located out of the working triangle. We also like the aesthetics of the FP over other brands such as miele and thermador. Bluestar induction is seems nice but I'd rather do SZ at the same pricepoint for fridge.

Tentative design plans for kitchen area:

Change 2 butlers pantry (two doors at the back) into 1 large butlers pantry with single door. That door space will then be all cabinetry and location of either 48'' side by side SZ or 24 inch FP freezer column.

Switch location of range and sink

Make island smaller

I have looked at both.

Viking has really poor quality/reputation these days so I've decided to avoid completely.

Aga looks nice. Seems like a mixed bag with quality/reputation, they seem to be very aesthetics focused. This further translates into their rangetop setup which seems very inefficient. Only 1 large burner maxing out at 10 inches with no bridge options and only 8 power levels.

Gaggenau makes one too where you individually position the knobs on your cabinetry and have to individually wire I believe. It looks complicated with lots of potential headaches...

Really wish wolf made a induction range top similar to their gas.

My choices in this smaller space includes the SZ frig, an undercounter Miele CSO topped with a KM 8000 series Miele fullsurface induction cooktop, scheduled for release any day. Info is on the UK Miele site. I also like the G5000 lower end Miele dw.

Assuming you want a range with a bridge element and control knobs, you might consider the CR-recommended Dacor DOP30T940IS ($7,000; specs) which has both and is considerably less expensive than the Wolf IR30451/S/P ($10,715).

In regards to the Miele, we really want an induction option with knobs which is why it got ruled out.

The only cooktops I've seen so far with knobs are bluestar, frigidaire professional, and the impulse. I like the look of the impulse the most

The dacor looks like a reasonable contender. I'm a little hesitant because of their samsung ownership and some reliability concerns/servicing. For me, the 3.7K is worth the piece of mind. The FP induction range is in the running mainly because there are some aesthetic differences that we really like in regards to the color/design and how it sits more flush with the countertops.

I’m not sure if you’ve taken a look at the option of an induction range top. The brands that are currently on the market are somewhat limited as I suspect other brands will eventually come into that category as induction expands in the marketplace generally. AGA has a number of induction range top options. The only other brands I see that have gotten to this category as of yet are Viking, and a few of the Italian brands, all of which could be difficult to source service and parts for. If this were an option, you would want to see if a Rangetop would still allow space underneath if that is where you’re having to place an oven unit. I really like the range top option because it gives you knobs, but also places the knobs on the vertical front of the unit so that there are fewer issues with cleaning food splashes off of the knobs, which can happen with induction cooktops that have the physical knobs up top.

Miele Experience Centers. For this important choice I'd experience life knobless. If you cannot make the leap, Miele has two range levels with knobs. One has steam and Masterchef. The steam configuration scope is not as programable as their CSO choices. And you do not get full surface induction. Priorities are personal.
