Wildberry rose From April and Ashley

I received Wildberry from April & Ashley in November as a bareroot. After a mild and relatively dry winter and a set of late frost burned her. She is determined to prove that she is small but mighty.
Usually my first flush from bareroots never resemble the flowers of a mature and established plant and fragrance isn’t always notable. Wildberry has produced a small flush of well formed, good sized and fragrant blooms.
The various shades of pink are vivid and captivating. especially with the way the petals swirl and twist around each other. The flowers have alot of depth and character.
I’m excited to see her grow and I have full confidence she will be a power house once she matures a bit more in my garden.
