We’re building an outdoor pavilion, and the ceiling will be exposed STK cedar. We want to keep the wood looking as close to the raw, light natural cedar color as possible, not golden, amber, or orange.

In the photo, the board on the right was sampled with a stain and it’s too orange/warm for me. The cedar on the left is raw and untouched, and that’s much closer to the look we want.

Would love recommendations for a clear matte UV sealer or very light stain/sealer that keeps cedar looking pale/natural, not amber or orange.
