The twigs are a bit big. the decor doesn't need to fill the top of the cabinet.

Thank you! I agree with both of your comments. I probably should have prefaced my post by mentioning that the tabletop styling is temporary while I play around with it. I definitely need a taller lamp, and I’ll likely remove the blue vase as well since it’s fairly large. I don’t want it to compete with the lamp or make the tabletop feel too crowded or visually

I would keep searching for a taller mirror, but I'm not one to settle or give up on searches for the right piece.

I think the mirror looks good. As much as I like the blue vase, I think it should be moved.

agree there’s a balance. I try not to settle, but I also don’t want to get stuck in analysis paralysis. This mirror may not be absolutely perfect, but I really like it and think it works well in the space.

I don’t really think of it as settling, though. I think it’s more about finding something I genuinely love, even if it’s not 100% of the picture I had in my head.

I don’t think the size of the mirror is the problem; the style is not complementary. Also, if you add anything larger, the table (and accessories) will be off. The ceiling is high, but the console’s size is a big factor.

Take a look on Pinterest at different mirror designs for ideas and there are often links to purchase. If there is a Marshall's or HomeSense near you, try there (for lamp as well).

Only purchase the lamp after the mirror is hung and even test a few as proportions are key. Instead of lining up, aim for a layered look.

A set of prints + a sconce will add height…if interested.

The mirror is really pretty but doesn’t relate well enough to the console. Try something with some texture or dark metal frame. This one is from hgtvfurniture.com. Of course check the size.
