Am surprised how fast it's growing in what is the most awful cool WET summer I've likely ever experienced. Yes, I've snugged it right next to the south facing foundation wall where the roots are unlikely to survive winter despite the warmth that penetrates through to make for a bit of an immediate frost free root zone ... though, as well, I can very highly insulate and otherwise take cuttings to preserve over the winter. I understand for those in warmer climates these passiflora can really run about via root suckers.
