Why can't the bed go on the other walls?

It looks like the windows are not centered on the wall?

The room looks crowded. Because you inherited furniture, doesn't mean you have to use all of it, specially if it doesn't all fit in your space.

You're honestly closer than you think - the beige walls and warm wood give you a good base, it's mostly texture and a few pops of colour that'll shift it boho.

For the lamps, since the CPAP is eating your nightstand space, I'd look for something slim a narrow rattan or warm ceramic base rather than anything wide or shiny. You want the bottom of the shade roughly at eye level when you're sitting up in bed, so about 26–28 inches tall on those nightstands works.

Definitely do sheers, and hang the rod high and wide - up near the ceiling and extending past the window on each side. It makes that small window read much bigger and lifts the whole room.

Colour-wise I'd bring the blue and sandy tones from your rug up onto the bed bedding, cushions and a throw in rust, cream and that grey-blue. That's really what makes a room feel boho rather than any one thing.

The wall above your dressers is a good spot for art, since the bed sits under the window a warm earthy print over each chest would soften all that dark inherited wood.

I’d keep the bed exactly where it is and work on making that wall feel more intentional and balanced.

Since the room is only 13' × 13', I’d use floor-length ivory or warm white sheer curtains, hung close to the ceiling to make the room feel taller and softer.

For the headboard, I think raising it to around 50–56 inches from the floor would give the bed much better proportions. Matching bedside lamps would look great, but because of the CPAP, I’d choose slim lamps or even wall-mounted sconces to keep the nightstand surface clear.

For colors, I’d pull directly from your rug — warm beige, ivory, taupe, muted gold, and soft grey-blue. A few simple pieces of artwork in the same tones would tie everything together without making the small room feel crowded.

I’d also keep the inherited furniture and use the new curtains, bedding, lighting, and artwork to make everything feel more cohesive and intentional.
