IMO if theses are the only choices the one on the far left for flooring and paint color will need much more info about counters , natural light etc. Paint IMO one of the last choices to make along with pulls and knobs

I would want much more contrast than what you've shown. A darker wood-look floor or something that looks like stone would be my choice. But you need to look at the whole space in order to make the best decision, as Patricia has said.

My other question is what is in the rest of the house or is this new floor going everywhere. If everywhere we neede to see all the spaces

I'm in agreement with Diana Bier - it seems there should be more contrast between the cabinetry and flooring. The selections I am seeing in the photo are maybe too similar to the cabinetry but not quite a match either. Usually you really don't want to match cabinetry and flooring as that can give a kitchen a flat and monotone appearance. Would suggest something significantly darker than the cabinets.

I too prefer a contrast, BUT with pets, not a dark floor, it shows hair and dust more quickly than something light.

Is that stone the adjacent flooring in the home? if that's the case, I'd choose the far left. A contrast, but in the lighter direction.

Paint color depends on the lighting in the room, natural or otherwise.

The entire house will be getting new flooring, that tile next to the samples has already been taken up. I am thinking a white quartz counter top. Here is a mocked up photo. It was a U-shaped kitchen with a wall on the right where the different color tile is. There is one step down to the living room. I couldn't stand the wall blocking the amazing views. I will be building out the wall where the stove is about 18"

I never said dark; I said darker. A medium toned brown would be fine.

If your cabinet door is maple it will yellow over time.

If it's birch it may turn reddish over time.

The vinyl floor will not change color.

Are there any medium brown floor colors you like? The floor will wash out the kitchen cabinets.

@RedRyder None that I've found so far, but I bought a bunch more samples.
