Desperate to safely strip these antique floors

We are trying to salvage the original floors in our 1700s home. The floors are bare wood in our living room and they are beautiful, and the floor refinisher we spoke with thinks these are the same. The problem is they have 3 layers of gross paint and one of them is lead 😞

It’s not a huge area (1 small office, entryway, closet, tiny powder room, and first set of stairs), so we are going to try to strip it. After doing some research we plan to use Peel Away 1, has anyone had success with it for old pine floors? My main concern is that there are large gaps between the boards, with a subfloor beneath. How do I avoid the stripper getting in the cracks and damaging the subfloor? Has anyone used Peel Away 1 on a floor with big gaps between the boards?

Note: We tried infrared stripping and ahavent had much luck.

Encapsulation by painting or laying a new floor on top is not something we want to consider at this time.

Thank you!
