I guess we all agree! Bring the blue all the way around and add some window treatments. I suggest drapery panels on each side of the french doors--using either short rods on one long rod all the way across. I know, you're going to say you don't want to cover up the light switches to the right, but if you use brackets that come out 3.5" from the wall (or even 5") your hand will easily slide right back there and the room will look great!

Beige and blue together in the accents would be nice after you paint the wall blue - lol I like these stripey ones.

I love it now. Super glad that I carried the color into the kitchen. Once I get up some blinds and art work it will get even better. I'm thinking about putting my wine racks pictured below behind the dining room table.

It is a lot more harmonious. Interesting wine racks!
