Hi Ms. Gordon,
I'm one of the regular featured Ideabook writers for Houzz and a fellow designer in Portland, Oregon. I will soon be publishing an Ideabook on Houzz on the use of crown moldings and this photo will be included. I wanted to know if the ceiling is 8'? This is a great example of using molding actually on the ceiling -- not where it meets the vertical wall -- thereby adding to the feeling of height in a room when you don't have really high ceilings to begin with. Lovely!
