It is generically referred to as ledge rock. That is more the style of masonry than the actual stone. This is a natural lime stone quarried in the Wiarton area. This particular stone is cut really thin so the veneer applied like stucco.

There is also a number of cultured stone products out there that are very convincing and cheaper. They also apply like stucco.
