We have a 1940s farmhouse which is going thru essentially a gut renovation. We are putting in a powder room off a back hall from the kitchen outside the laundry. The whole first floor will have wood floors except for tile in the laundry. I could go with either tile or wood for the powder room. I am leaning towards wood but have stuck in my mind that wood in a bathroom is bad because of water. Does it hold up?
