Are you afraid you like it because it's trendy and you want your house to be trendy, or do you like because you like waterfalls? If you can answer that honestly, I think you'll have your answer.

Thanks for the post. I just love the clean look of it. I don't want my house to be 'trendy". But I have my answer, thanks to you, I just like the way it looks. So I will bite the bullet and pay for the extra cost. Hopefully, it won't go the way of "glass brick". I live in Miami and that was a big look back then. Yikes!!!

Whether something goes out of style or not is of no concern to me as long as I'm not trying to sell my house. I have the much dreaded golden oak cabinets from the late 90s and am still happy with them as I like the look of wood. Hopefully you'll continue to feel that way about your waterfall over the years regardless of the trends.
