I cannot imagine how anyone could use the before kitchen. wherewould you go if the stove or refrigerator door were open? Renovation is a vast improvement.

Nice! The before is frightful. But the original front door is interesting, is that a circular window.

    Where were the cabinets purchased?

not sure why i would want to see the side of the refrigerator and lose valuable wall space in the living area...would have 3/4 wall to height of refrigerator which would have let in light but allowed for something useful on that wall.. just sayin..don't like reno at all

Good job but the fridge is way too big!

Looks good. Agree, a smaller fridge would have worked better. Beautiful floors.

Nice...the only thing missing is a wood panel on the side of the fridge, so you won't see the black side of it. Good job !

I agree with the smaller fridge / wall to cover the side up comments!!

Where can one purchase simple kitchen cabinets like these?

We had to take that wall off to fit the fridge and oven on that same wall and still keep the straight lines in the cabinets and countertop. The customer wanted to keep this kitchen on a budget and not spend too much money, So a slim fridge would be best but much more expensive and wasn't in the budget. I think it looks very good for a budget studio apartment in an highrise, don't you think??

in the same situation we indented the stove by taking out just enough of the wall behind the refrigerator to imbed it... if keeping the straight line was the issue a false wall could have been built to cover the existing wall and the refrigerator...
