Need advice on windows and color scheme on this ranch style tudor

We have a new roof! Looking to purchase new windows, and everything else that goes with it and redo the side porch of the house. I would like to add a "contemporary" flair to it. I don't know if a steel constructed pergola would look good and the color scheme to provide more curb appeal. Your comments are very much appreciated.. Also, if you can see there is 2 recessed brick coves on either side of the house which I would like to add some type of material in. I added a pic of my home and some examples of the pergola. I like the dark brown look but Im looking for some input PLease! Thank you.

Is this your new roof? I cannot see the house very well. Is it brick? color of brick?

A contemporary pergola would be very difficult to pull off with your style of home..perhaps a slightly contemporary design out of more organic materials would work more cohesively on your home ...as to color I think there is so little paintable area that here is the detail where you can pull out the stops and incorporate multiple shots of color to break up the vast areas of brick..my first choice would be sage green, periwinkle, and a shot of a stronger color as an accent maybe a Forrest green...better pics would enable more specific suggestions
