I love these wood floors! What kind of wood is it? Are they stained a specific color?

I just had all wood floors layed this week, the color I put in was Butterscotch. These look like the same color but a bit darker, might be the lighting. Hope it helps .... and yes, I love my floors!! I'm very happy with the color I chose.

It 's not just the beautiful color, it's also the grain. It looks like quartersawn oak, which is classic but a challenge to find. If anyone knows a good supplier in the DC area, please clue me in!

I agree. It looks like Quarter Sawn Oak. Here is a helpful grain diagram explaining this very unique grain pattern.
