I have a hill country style house with white limestone, bronze metal roof accents and stained cedar in certain places (porch posts and awning soffits). We were going to paint the body of the house (board and batten hardi) a soft tan color with cream trim to let the cedar and metal roof take over. The eaves are quite large at 24" in some places - can we paint these the same color as the house? And then just use the cream color to paint the trim facing the front?
