Hi. The answer is yes and no,which is not very helpful, so I'll explain. Granite is a natural material. Often, a similar looking material can come from two different quarries. The quarries or the companies that cut up the blocks (in Italy or Brazil probably) might give these different sources different names. Or, as I think is the case here, two quarries may have been producing two different looking stones, which made two different names make sense. Over time, though, as one of the quarries moved farther into the mountain (or something like that), they may have come across stone that looked more like the other quarries, leaving two stones that look the same, but have different names.

The bottom line is this: they have similar types of minerals making them look that way. They are both granite. If you are looking for one you like, just let your local supplier know that you like both, since they are sold as different stones. And since stones like this (you should also look at Delicatus and Juperana Delicatus Granite) vary a lot from slab to slab, make sure you choose the actual slabs that are going in your home.
