Keeping a Spare Pump on Hand?

I'm currently using an OASE Aquamax 3700 gph pump in my 3,000 gal pond. It's probably 10+ years old. It's been running 24/7/365 for 10+ years. This type & size pump is not carried by my local Lowes and Home Depot and I would have to order it on-line, probably taking 2-3 days to get here.

Here's my question: Do any of you keep a spare pump just in case the one in the pond fails? I've never experienced pump failure but sometimes have had trouble locating one.

BTW - I'm carrying a pretty good "load" of Koi and Goldfish and wouldn't want them to be without water circulation and filtration in the hot summer months. Did I just answer my question?

TIA
