Hi serena6 - the granite used in this kitchen is called "Caldera" from CimStone. It was mitered to a 2.5" thickness as well.

The Dark piece on the top of the raised bar is "Fantasy Brown" from the same company and that one is at the standard thickness of 1 1/4'"
