What do you think?

The before pictures are really rough but originally, the kitchen was half the size and was separated by 2 walls (not attached to the other). The kitchen is now fully open to the fireplace, living room and dining room. The cabinets are Fieldstone Cabinetry and countertop is from Cambria.

Would like to see all of the cabinets go to the ceiling but that was probably the choice of the owner.

@Brandi, sorry, not stupid. They asked for opinions, they're getting them. Personally, I think this kitchen has too much kitsch. It looks like the kitchen section from the Home Goods store. Too many things in it, and fake greenery, in some people's opinion, is the worst offender.

Love the fan concealed over the range. I, like several others, would have put all cabinetry to the ceiling.

    Silly? I don't think so.

@ Brandi... I think it's rude to call someone, or their comment Stupid.

While it's a nice update...I guess it's just not my cuppa. I'm just tired of seeing "tan" everywhere I look these days.

What did you put on the floor? Looks like you replaced an "oak" laminate with a distressed wood. Is that correct?

The renovated kitchen is truly amazing from all senses. where lighting fixtures & wall paint with cupboards are going well with overall look of the kitchen. I believe little contrasting effect in cupboard or the wall finish would have given much more satisfaction.

I love the countertops and backsplash. New window looks great (dump the wreath).
    Colour choice is excellent!
Clutter up above cabinets and on counters too much for me.

THE LARGER WINDOW MAKES THE ROOM FEEL TWICE AS BIG. ALTHOUGH IT SEEMS TO WANT SOME FORM OF FABRIC WINDOW TREATMENT TO ADD MORE TEXTURE TO THE SPACE. VERY NICE FINISH CHOICES.

to Tatoosi Design & Construction, INC............Yiker's!!!! You did such a great job. How come you didn't knock down the "wing walls?" I LOVE the way the pot lites worked so well in the spot where the fluorescent lites were. That was a great idea.

Night and day. Love. I'm in lust for that cooktop!

Went and looked, at the profile and the rest of the pictures.

I still want that cooktop/range. Only thing I would have done in that area was added a swingout pot filling tap. That's not for everyone. Oh well... what make and model is the range?
