Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews knows how to make things happen on the football field. But recently he pulled off a cool trick outside the stadium. After older brother Brian Matthews and Brian’s wife, Megan, welcomed home newborn twin boys, Clay surprised them with a renovation of their kitchen, dining area and family room to make their house in Cleveland more comfortable, functional and, above all, family friendly.

(I posted this on the Youtube video site yesterday) What an amazing brother! Plus he has a future in home decorating and renovation. Great vision, great eye and really gets design. He was far too modest in his involvement and direction. My new favorite NFL player. I had no idea what a great guy Clay is but do now.

The renovation was beautiful, and so were the twins! Clay showed an incredible eye for design; I loved the lighting fixtures he chose and the rustic/industrial touches to the kitchen he wanted to add. Hurst Design did a fantastic job pulling everything together. Lovely.
I can see a new career for Clay when he retires from football! Fabulous renovation and what a lovely family.
