Tour an Elegant London Apartment Designed for a Client Abroad
London designer Misha Andersen faced two main challenges when updating this elegant new apartment for her client: distance and time. The apartment is in London, but the client was living 6,000 miles away in Hong Kong. And the client, who found and hired Andersen through Houzz, needed the home outfitted and furnished in a matter of weeks.
Working quickly and remotely, she helped the client create spaces for entertaining, relaxing and studying. Muted, soft colors and a mix of materials like wood, leather and upholstery give the space a sanctuary-like look and feel, all of which came together in just 40 days. “It’s lean luxury,” Andersen says.

In "a matter of weeks"! Serene and pretty.
I would feel tired in this space all the time.. there is no pop of colour in the living areas.
Wow, I’m impressed! I think, esp given the strict budget and tight timeframe, Misha worked very quickly and smartly. While not to everyone’s taste, (what is??) this does NOT look like a project thrown together in a few weeks…well done. Perhaps these clients wanted something calm and muted after long flights etc, and maybe their Hongkong residence is more colorful and they wanted something very different, Slavica.
Cool ideas!
I really like the ideas in this video. Amazing turnaround too!
Lovely space, calm and serene, but more of a hotel than a home. Maybe this was the intention.
