Originally constructed in 1992, an oversized lot was divided and two townhomes constructed. Only 24 years later the house was already having mechanical and plumbing issues; along with several other problems, including poor design choices and quality of materials and construction.

The owner initially called us to take a look at remodeling his kitchen. Although the kitchen did need a major overhaul, it didn’t make sense to tackle the kitchen independently without addressing the other major issues of the home.

October 5 is not a big fan of doing things haphazardly, and we’ve been known to turn down projects that ignore quality, attention to detail and craftsmanship. We did not recommend remodeling the kitchen only, the whole house needed attention . . . and that’s what we did!
